Organ Donation

In February 2020, a new national liver allocation policy that corrected decades of inequity officially took effect. GNYHA spearheaded a legal challenge to the former system, in coordination with allies for other disadvantaged states, which resulted in the new policy. GNYHA continues to advocate for fairness in organ allocation.
