NY-RAH

In 2012, the GNYHA Foundation was awarded a four-year cooperative agreement with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to conduct a special project to improve the quality of care for long-stay nursing facility residents. The project, New York–Reducing Avoidable Hospitalizations (NY–RAH), is sponsored by the Federal Medicare-Medicaid Coordination Office. In 2016, GNYHA Foundation was awarded another four-year cooperative agreement to continue the NY–RAH project.
