Maternal Health

GNYHA is an active partner with the New York State Department of Health, our member hospitals, and others on targeted initiatives to improve obstetrical outcomes. GNYHA is in the third year of the Maternal Depression Learning Collaborative, which it directs in conjunction with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the CUNY Center for Innovation in Mental Health. GNYHA also has a representative on Governor Cuomo’s Maternal Morality Taskforce.
