Forced Nurse Staffing Ratios

GNYHA fiercely opposes legislation that would impose inflexible nurse staffing ratios on every hospital in New York State. Rather than having legislators dictate staffing levels in a one-size-fits-all approach, GNYHA and its members argue strongly that every hospital is unique and must staff accordingly and maintain the flexibility to adapt staffing as needed.
