Rate Adjustment for Staffing Agencies and Health Care Facilities

New York City Emergency Management recently announced a rate adjustment for staffing agencies and health care facilities participating in the Surge Staffing Group Purchasing Organization (GPO). According to the announcement, surge staff contracted through the GPO are subject to high range staffing rates effective December 21. The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene approved the rate adjustment based on predetermined epidemiological milestones and the projected increase in health care service demands across New York City. GPO staffing agencies have been notified of the rate adjustment.
