Puja Khare joined GNYHA’s Legal, Regulatory, and Professional Affairs team in 2016. Ms. Khare provides member support on legal and regulatory issues, including record retention, medical marijuana, and workers’ compensation. Prior to joining GNYHA, she worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Health, where she regulated certain health care providers. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Justice Thomas G. Saylor, who is now chief Justice of Pennsylvania’s highest appellate court. Ms. Khare received her BS in Statistics from Penn State University and her JD from the Penn State University Dickinson School of Law. She is a member of the Pennsylvania and New York State bars.
