Laura Alfredo joined GNYHA’s Legal, Regulatory, and Professional Affairs Department in 2015. She is responsible for compliance, privacy, and medical malpractice policy issues, among other legal and regulatory matters. Before joining GNYHA, Ms. Alfredo worked in private practice as a litigator and for two health care systems in New York City as in-house counsel. She earned a JD from Fordham University School of Law and a MA in Political Science from the New School.
