Kathleen Shure joined GNYHA’s Health Economics and Finance Department in 2008. Ms. Shure is responsible for all managed care and insurance activities, and has lead responsibility for health reform policy matters involving Medicaid, coverage expansion, and delivery system reform. Before joining GNYHA, she worked for New York State Department of Health, North Shore–Long Island Jewish Health System, the Health Insurance Plan of Greater New York, and the Health Care Financing Administration. Ms. Shure earned a BA in Economics from Colgate University and an MPA in Health Administration from New York University.
