Catrina Caneda joined GNYHA’s Legal, Regulatory, and Professional Affairs team in 2019. Her responsibilities include working with member hospitals on behavioral health issues and helping behavioral health leadership execute performance improvement initiatives. Prior to joining GNYHA, Ms. Caneda was a care coordinator for a tech company, where she collaborated with primary care and mental health clinicians to connect individuals to appropriate mental health services. She has also worked with underserved communities in community health and social service settings. Ms. Caneda earned a BA in Psychology and minor in Disability Studies at the University of California, Berkeley.
