COVID-19 – Resumption of Elective Outpatient Surgeries and Non-Urgent Procedures (Deferred Procedures) in Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Office Based Surgery Practices and Diagnostic and Treatment Centers in Counties Without a Significant Risk of COVID-19 Surge: Outlines guidance confirming that centers and practices located in counties determined to be “without a significant risk of COVID-19 surge” are also deemed eligible to perform elective procedures. These centers and practices are required however to meet the same provisions required of hospitals in those counties that are also resuming procedures. The guidance also reports the methodology for these centers and practices to resume elective procedures. 6/14
