The Schwartz Center for Compassionate Healthcare (Schwartz Center) is partnering with First Responders First, a fund dedicated to frontline health care workers, to collect stories, videos, and photos of health care professionals who display extraordinary devotion and compassion in caring for patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. All submissions will be reviewed and organized with the goal of telling the comprehensive story of our nation’s frontline response and the unmatched sacrifice of health care workers. Health care providers are encouraged to share their story here.
Since 2016, GNYHA has promoted and supported the Schwartz Center by covering GNYHA members’ Schwartz Center annual membership fees, with the current membership including 55 GNYHA member hospitals. The Schwartz Center promotes compassionate patient care by supporting healing relationships through its signature Schwartz Rounds® conducted by and for health care staff.
